Bluerock Residential Growth REIT (BRG) Announces Second Quarter Dividends on Common Stock, 8.250% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock, 7.625% Series C Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock, and 7.125% Series D Cumulative Preferred Stock, and May and June Dividends on Series B Preferred Stock and Series T Preferred Stock

New York, NY (May 11, 2020) – Bluerock Residential Growth REIT, Inc. (NYSE American: BRG) (the “Company”) today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized and the Company has declared quarterly cash dividends on the Company’s Class A common stock (the “Class A Common Stock”) and the Company’s Class C common stock (the “Class C Common Stock”) for the second quarter of 2020, in each case in the amount of $0.1625 per share (collectively, the “Common Dividends”). In addition, the Board of Directors has authorized and the Company has declared quarterly cash dividends for the second quarter of 2020 on the Company’s 8.250% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock (the “Series A Preferred Stock”) in the amount of $0.515625 per share (the “Series A Preferred Dividend”); on its 7.625% Series C Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock (the “Series C Preferred Stock”) in the amount of $0.4765625 per share (the “Series C Preferred Dividend”); and on its 7.125% Series D Cumulative Preferred Stock (the “Series D Preferred Stock”) in the amount of $0.4453125 per share (the “Series D Preferred Dividend”).

The Company further announced that its Board of Directors has authorized and the Company has declared cash dividends for the months of May 2020 and June 2020 on the Company’s Series B Redeemable Preferred Stock (the “Series B Preferred Stock”) equal to a quarterly rate of $15.00 per share (the “Series B Preferred Dividends”); and on the Company’s Series T Redeemable Preferred Stock (the “Series T Preferred Stock”) equal to a quarterly rate of $0.384375 per share (the “Series T Preferred Dividends”).

The Common Dividends, the Series A Preferred Dividend, the Series C Preferred Dividend and the Series D Preferred Dividend will each be payable in cash on Thursday, July 2, 2020 to Class A Common stockholders, Class C Common stockholders, Series A Preferred stockholders, Series C Preferred stockholders and Series D Preferred stockholders of record (respectively) as of Thursday, June 25, 2020.

The Series B Preferred Dividends will be payable in cash as follows: $5.00 per share to be paid on Friday, June 5, 2020 to Series B Preferred stockholders of record as of Friday, May 22, 2020; and $5.00 per share to be paid on Thursday, July 2 2020 to Series B Preferred stockholders of record as of Thursday, June 25, 2020.

The Series T Preferred Dividends will be payable in cash as follows: $0.128125 per share to be paid on Friday, June 5, 2020 to Series T Preferred stockholders of record as of Friday, May 22, 2020; and $0.128125 per share to be paid on Thursday, July 2, 2020 to Series T Preferred stockholders of record as of Thursday, June 25, 2020. Newly-issued shares of Series T Preferred Stock held for only a portion of the applicable monthly dividend period will receive a prorated Series T Preferred Dividend based on the actual number of days in the applicable dividend period during which each such share of Series T Preferred Stock was outstanding, as permitted under the Articles Supplementary to the Company’s charter dated November 13, 2019.
